The Foundation and the Editorial Group Macpecri, established an alliance to carry out an educational project that consists in a children's book inspired in Dr. Convit's work, which will be distributed to schools throughout the country. The objective of the project is to estimulate the interest to learn and discover, the love for others, and other values, through the inspiring role model of our Heroe of Public Health.
Fundación Amigos del Niño con Cáncer
The organization established a cooperation program with the Fundación Amigos del Niño con Cáncer, who will take care of receiving the samples from all the hospitals that participate in our Molecular Diagnostic Unit Program, and deliver them safely to the Foundation.
Hospital de Niños "J.M. de los Ríos"
The Jacinto Convit Foundation and the Children's Hospital established an alliance to start a cost free program in molecular diagnostics, as part of the Molecular Diagnostic Unit of the Foundation, in order to perform an early, precise, fast and personalized detection for pediatric cancer and infectious diseases for patients that attend this hospital, that is national reference.
The MDU is a pioneer program in Venezuela, that gives access to a new concept of targeted therapy and personalized medicine for pediatric community at a national level. The experience with this Hospital has given the opportunity to expand the program and start covering the main public hospitals in the country.
Valores Educativos Televisión (ValeTV)
The Foundation and Vale TV have been working together since 2012 by gathering photos, videos, interviews, testimonies and other materials related to the life of Dr. Jacinto Convit, in an effort to tell Dr. Convit's 100-year old history on the silver screen. In 2013, ValeTV, with the support of the Venezuelan independent national cinematography center, the Jacinto Convit Foundation and other institutions, premiered the first film made about the life of Dr. Convit. This film has been shown in schools, universities and international organizations to provide inspiration and knowledge to all generations.
